At Y-Containers, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of shipping containers and Tiny House Capsules. This Return and Refunds Policy outlines the process for returning Products and obtaining refunds, crafted with California law in mind. By purchasing from us, you agree to these terms, which ensure fairness and compliance with state regulations.


1. Return Eligibility

  • Timeframe: You may return eligible Products within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery, as confirmed by our shipping carrier.
  • Condition: Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original condition (e.g., no modifications, dents, or added wear beyond delivery). Custom Products (e.g., modified Tiny House Capsules) are exempt unless defective.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt, order confirmation, or invoice is required for all returns.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom Orders: Tiny House Capsules or containers with modifications (e.g., windows, insulation) are non-returnable unless defective, per California law for custom-made goods (Cal. Civ. Code § 1792.2).
  • As-Is Products: Used containers sold “as-is” are final sale unless they fail to meet the described condition.
  • Shipping Fees: Delivery costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

3. Return Process
